Ash was a stray and came up to us about 5 years ago. When it is just me and him, he is the sweetest dog. You wouldn't even know he was there, he is calm and loving. But if a friend comes over it is a whole different story. He is very attached to us but we cannot continue to sacrifice our lives for him. We miss family events because he cannot be alone and no one can watch him. Since he walked up to us, we have tried everything to accommodate him. Leaving him inside, he torn the blinds off every room, ate the door, etc. so we crate trained him. He went through 3 'indestructible' crates. Then we trained him with a certified trainer, that did not help. Then, we had him on an electric fence, he ran right through it & ran away everyday. We are out of options. We know if we take him to the shelter, no one will adopt him and he will be euthanized. Do you live on a farm? He would thrive there! Are you retired or home everyday? He would love to keep you company.
