About Kenya

Meet Kenya! ���%A4 Kenya is a beautiful six-year-old black cat with a story that has come full circle. She was adopted through Euclid Beach Cat Project when she was just nine weeks old, and now, through no fault of her own, she's back with us looking for another chance at a forever home. Like her housemate, Milo, Kenya's family went through some major life changes. When their owners got married, the husband was allergic and didn't want the cats to come along. They spent a long time confined to a single room in an aunt's house until, eventually, they were told they had to leave. It's been a difficult journey, but Kenya hasn't let it change her sweet nature. Kenya is a larger girl who could stand to lose a few pounds, but she's every bit as beautiful as she is lovable. She enjoys affection and would likely do best with older children or an adult home. New surroundings can be a little overwhelming for her at first-not because she's shy, but because she gets confused and a bit stressed by change. Give her a little time to get her bearings, and before long she's back to being the affectionate, loving cat she truly is. Kenya and Milo can be adopted together, but they aren't closely bonded, so they would also do just fine in separate loving homes.
