About MJ

MJ is a beautiful calico I rescued as a tiny 3-4 week old orphan in 2024 and bottle-raised. She's smart, curious, affectionate on her terms, loves watching birds, exploring safely outdoors on a harness/catio, and thrives on routine. She's litter box trained, well-mannered, and enjoys being near her person. MJ also has a very sensitive nervous system. She experiences occasional episodes where she fixates on her tail and becomes briefly overstimulated. I've worked closely with my veterinarian and tried many approaches, but I believe this is something she'll always need understanding and management for. She has never directed these episodes toward people. MJ would do best in a calm home with someone who is home often, patient, and willing to provide enrichment and a predictable routine. I'm committed to finding the right home because she deserves someone who understands her unique personality.
