About Dice

URGENT: PLEASE HELP SAVE DICE (A1926859)! Currently at the Riverside Shelter�'�|Western Riverside County/City Animal Shelter: 6851 Van Buren Blvd, Jurupa Valley, CA 92509. This beautiful boy is only about 1 year old, and he has the sweetest smile and the most loving personality. He is VERY, VERY sweet, affectionate, friendly, and social. Everyone who has met him says what a wonderful dog he is. He also appears to do well with other dogs. Dice's story is heartbreaking�'�| On July 5th, a kind Good Samaritan found him after he had likely escaped his yard during the Fourth of July fireworks. They took him to a local veterinary clinic to be scanned for a microchip and he had one. The clinic contacted his family, hoping for a happy reunion. Instead, they said they didn't want him anymore. The veterinary staff reached out to rescues, desperately trying to find someone who could help this sweet boy. After several days of searching for a foster, the Good Samaritan had no choice but to take Dice to the Riverside Shelter because their own dog is very reactive to other dogs. Now Dice is sitting in an overcrowded shelter through absolutely no fault of his own. He doesn't understand why his family abandoned him. He only knows he's waiting for someone to love him again.
