About Mickey

I have had Mickey for the past 3 years, and I have made the difficult decision to rehome him because I am relocating. He is a very active and cuddly boy. He is 4 years old and loves to go on hikes, backpacking & camping adventures and loves fetching the ball. He does not have any health or medical needs, is up to date on vaccines, and is neutered. Mickey gets along well with other dogs, although he can be shy at first. He is not reactive towards dogs or people. Mickey does have a small history of nipping (a common behavior for border collies). He has only nipped a few times in the past, while I left him with friends while out of town. Mickey has spent 2 years in obedience training, and listens very well. He is also great at communicating his needs. He is well house trained. Important: Mickey is a border collie x poodle, and therefore has the coat of a poodle. He requires minor weekly grooming and a more extensive grooming every month. Otherwise, Mickey is a happy and well loved dog that is looking for a new home!
