About Leo

Meet Leo! Leo's world was turned upside down when his beloved owner passed away. With no family able to take him in, he suddenly found himself alone, confused, and being passed from one home to another. As time went on, it seemed like no one was willing to give this sweet senior the second chance he deserved. Thankfully, one of our fosters came across a Facebook post saying there were no more options for Leo. We knew we couldn't let his story end there, so Mini Wonders Adoptions welcomed him into our rescue family. At 8 years old, Leo still has plenty of love and life left to share. He's happiest curled up in a warm lap, snuggled beside his favorite person in bed, or simply enjoying the comfort of being part of a family. Like many dogs, Leo can be a little protective of his food around other dogs, but with proper management he does well and is eager to be loved. Leo is looking for a forever home where he will never have to wonder if he'll be left behind again.
