About Pancho-VERY SWEET!!!

URGENT need for a foster parent for sweet Pancho through a rescue org.!!! Can also foster to adopt through it. Shepherds are at an increased risk of being euthanized when the shelter, Chicago Animal Care and Control, gets over-capacity. Tragically it is currently full, which is often the case!!! The shelter has a policy of mostly not offering purebred Shepherds up for adoption. Pancho is rescue only due to this policy, therefore chance of making it out of there is even more decreased! The rescue org. that is taking foster/foster to adopt applications for handsome Pancho is: Mit Liebe German Shepherd Dog Rescue, if in Wisconsin/Northern Illinois, which includes Chicago, (will need to copy and paste website address onto browser): www.mlgsdr.com . Sharing the following from the rescue org. that is taking applications: Pancho was recently surrendered to Chicago Animal Care and Control (specifics not given). He is a gentleman of 8 years of age. He is really sweet, happy doggie, easy on leash, no issues with handling, knows sit, and very food motivated. Pancho did well meeting another dog on leash at the shelter. Appears to be housebroken. PLEASE, if can help Panch to safety, get out of the shelter, can even just foster, in which the rescue covers all costs until adopted or can foster to adopt (same cost coverage til adoption process is complete). No dog should be stuck in a kennel almost 24/7, but especially a senior doggie and this breed. He is a very nice dog, PLEASE fill out an application with the aforementioned rescue org..
