Located in Pensacola Fl- must be able to travel for pick up. Meet Violet Concetta! ٩ Violet Concetta is an approximately 1-year-old, 10-pound Cairn Terrier mix with a big personality in a tiny package! She's playful, affectionate, and so incredibly cute that it's almost impossible to stay mad at her. Violet loves people and gets along well with both dogs and cats. She would love a playful canine companion to help burn off her young dog energy and has a special talent for bringing shy dogs out of their shells. She respects cats but may bark in hopes they'll join the fun. She enjoys toys, especially when someone plays with her, and she's very food motivated (carrots are a favorite!). She's working on leash walking and potty training and is making steady progress. She's not destructive, but because she's still learning house manners, she shouldn't be left alone for more than 4-5 hours at a time. A fenced yard would be great, but an apartment could also work if she gets plenty of exercise and opportunities to get her zoomies out. Because she's still young, she can be jumpy and a little mouthy during play, so she'd do best with older children. Violet can be a little protective of her food around other dogs, so feeding separately is recommended. While she's wonderful at home, Violet is still building confidence in the outside world. New places and busy environments can be overwhelming for her, so she'll need a patient family willing to let her adjust at her own pace. A confident dog companion would be a huge help as she learns that the world isn't such a scary place. If you're looking for a fun, loving little companion who's ready to blossom with the right family, Violet Concetta is waiting to meet you!
