About Hamlet

Hi! I'm Hamlet! I'm a 3-year-old black-and-white Husky mix with one blue eye and one eye that's half blue and half brown-so I'm pretty hard to forget! I'm a happy, friendly guy who loves making new friends, whether they're people or other dogs. I enjoy car rides, walks, and being included in whatever my family is doing. At the end of the day, my favorite thing is having everyone together before I happily tuck myself into my crate for the night. I'm also a pretty smart cookie! I love learning and pick up new tricks so fast that my foster family says they've run out of things to teach me. I thrive on training, consistency, and having a job to do. When it's time to play, I'm all in! I love durable toys (stuffed toys don't stand a chance!) and can't wait to be more active once I finish my heartworm treatment. I've also been working hard on my leash manners and have become a really enjoyable walking buddy. I'm fully housebroken and love hanging out in my crate with the door open, though I'd much rather have the freedom to relax nearby when my family is away. I've done a great job learning what's mine and what's not, and I'm eager to keep making my people proud. Whether I join a home with another playful dog or become your one-and-only, I'll be a loyal companion who's happiest just being part of the family.
