About Tonya

Beautiful Tonya is a save from a municipal shelter in TX and is loving being here with our rescue! She is a bit shutdown due to coming from a bad hoarding situation, but she is only seeing love and care from us here! She is a standard sized Aussie at about 36 pounds and beautiful tricolor markings. With some patience and love, this girl will be a great companion both at home and out on adventures. Now for the not-so-great news. The situation she was in, the people never kept up on the lifesaving heartworm medications that she (and others in that situation needed). She is heartworm positive but that no longer is a death sentence!! We have her started on the protocol to help this girl beat this infection! Her new owners will need to keep up with the protocol, but we will be with you every step of the way! Our veterinarian is also more than willing to work with yours to make sure everything goes as planned. Tonya is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and is spayed. Adoption fee is $250.
