Meet Ma'Na: An Athletic, Expressive Companion for a Quiet Home Ma'Na is a loyal, deeply expressive, and athletic dog who is looking for a specific, structured environment where he can truly shine. He is a wonderful blend of an outdoor adventure partner and a quiet work-from-home buddy. The Ideal Home Setup Only Pet: Ma'Na needs to be the center of your world and requires a home with no other pets. Ages: A mature home with adults or teenage children (no young kids). Work Environment: He thrives in a quiet office environment and is looking for a work-from-home or hybrid guardian. He wants to chill by your side. No Crates: Ma'Na is not crate trained. If confined away from his people, he will vocalize his displeasure and attempt to escape. He needs a home where his separation anxiety can be managed and gradually worked on. Outdoor Life & Social Style Trail Partner: Ma'Na absolutely loves trail running! He currently runs leashed with select dog partners and does great keeping the pace. Reactivity & Space: On narrow trail pathways or sidewalks, he struggles when crossing paths with unfamiliar dogs. He prefers his space and wants most dogs to keep their distance. Select Friends: While he has a specific Chihuahua friend at his local coffee shop, we have not observed him in open play with other dogs. Clear Communicator: Ma'Na wears his heart on his sleeve. He is incredibly expressive and will let you know clearly through his body language if he doesn't care for someone. Play, Diet, & Care Play Style: He loves a good game of fetch and can engage in rough, enthusiastic play, which is why a mature household fits him best. The Foodie: He has an elite palate! His ideal diet includes chicken thighs, and he is quite specific about his favorite treats. Vet Care: To keep everyone safe and stress-free, Ma'Na has a history of needing Trazodone (vet-prescribed calming medication) and a muzzle for vet visits.
