About Ruthie

Hello everyone, my name is Ruthie. I'm a very sweet and gentle 2.5�'��year�'��old, 74�'��lb Saint Bernard mix with a soft tan�'��and�'��white coat and an even softer heart. I originally came from Idaho, where my owners (if you can call them that) adopted me. We eventually made our way to Astoria, and somewhere along the way�'�| things happened. I ended up at the Clatsop County Shelter, unsure of what would come next. But everything changed when I joined the Astoria Dispatch/PD foster program. They've helped so many dogs like me find amazing homes, and now it's finally my turn. I'm so excited to start this new chapter. My favorite thing in the world is being close to people-soaking up affection and giving it right back. So far, the people at APD have been incredible. I've gotten so much attention already. On my very first day, the firefighters gave me a bath-and I loved it.
