About Scrappy

Meet little Skylar! This beautiful 26 pound girl is a mini aussie girl we think, as she looks very aussie with long hair and a beautiful face, but she is pretty small. She is adorable for sure and very aussie acting. She is just 5 years old but acts younger than that and is shy and laid back. She is very pensive and studies everything in her environment. She is good with other dogs and still a little wary of people but getting better daily. She loves going into the yard to play and she can walk on a leash as well but will lie down if uncomfortable. SHe is using a potty pad here at the shelter between yard walk times. She came to us from our Abilene rescue friends and was likely a back yard breeder dog who became unwanted. But now this girl is spayed and fully vaccinated and microchipped too. Great dog for a quiet home and someone who needs a loyal companion !!
