About Atlas

Meet Atlas! Atlas is a loyal, energetic girl who loves being right by her people's side. Give her a ball and she'll chase it all day - she's not much of a toy girl, but balls, neighborhood runs, and hikes are her favorite things in the world. Atlas would thrive with an active family who has plenty of time for play and exercise throughout the day. Atlas is affectionate and devoted, but does best in a home without small children, as sudden or erratic movement can trigger her herding instincts, including nipping. She knows her place commands, sits, and lays down well. On walks, she wears a gentle leader, since she's a natural puller with a strong prey drive for squirrels, birds, and bunnies. She's very friendly with other dogs and wants to greet every pup she meets - though when she isn't able to say hello, that enthusiasm can turn into some leash reactivity. Atlas is up to date on vaccines but is not yet microchipped. She has a turkey allergy but loves lamb and rice!
