About Scout

My name is Scout! I am 4.5 months and about 25 lbs. The expectation is for me to grow to be about 45 lbs. I am a Lab/Collie/Staffordshire mix. I am such a fun, sweet and thoughtful boy. I win over everyone I meet. I am a little shy at first but will do practically anything for a treat. My amazing qualities list is so long. - Dog friendly and playful/love doggie outings and playdates - check! - Floppy puppy run - check! - Great at entertaining myself with toys - check! - Sleep through the night and go right in my crate without protest - check! - Love to go on walks - check! - Play fetch - check! - Housebroken - check! - Crate-trained - check! - Enjoy a puppy pool - check! - Loyal and affectionate - check! - Ride well in the car - check! - My nails - I have the most amazing manicured nails. I live with three big adult females and I think I am in heaven. I would do great with an older confident dog that would play with me and show me the ropes. But, I do love my humans and would do fine with a family that can let me evolve and trust in time. I attach quickly to one person - they are my lifeline and then I will learn to spread my love to other family members. I am such a well behaved little gentleman and adaptable! I would love a family that can provide patience, activity and lots of positive reinforcement as I continue to learn the way of the world! Cats okay. I am located in NJ!
