Bagel is almost 2 years old, a Treeing Walker Coonhound. He is incredibly sweet, very hyper, and a snuggler. He is potty trained, crate trained, and knows basic commands. He does well with other animals and has been living with a large Pyrenese/Poodle mix as well as a cat for the past year and a half. He is good with children, but often hyper at the first introduction. He doesn't realize how big but he is very gentle and never bites. Once he calms down, he is a giant snuggle buddy. He loves to 'nest' and sits on top of the couch like his brother (my cat) taught him to do. His is a hound dog so he does bark. If you are not okay with a barking dog, this is not the breed for you. He also has a bit of separation anxiety and prefers to be fed away from other animals. He has never shown any aggression but he does protect his own food bowl from other dogs by growling or barking. He is up to date on all of his vaccines and is neutered. I have attached his vaccination records. He has taken Simparica Trio for the past year for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He has not been taught to hunt yet, but he would make an excellent hunting dog. He is young enough that he could still be trained to do some amazing things.
