About Axl

Meet Axl !! This handsome tiny guy is so sweet. Hes easy going and just looking for someone to love. Axl is a Male and is 7 Year old, he is supposed to be a Yorkie/Chihuahua. He weighs 6.8 pounds and is full grown. He is already neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He is Heartworm negative. This sweet boy came to us from a very loving owner. She sadly had to give him up to focus on her own health needs. Hes been very loved and spoiled and needs the same in his new home. Axl is friendly with everyone. A tad shy for a moment but happy to be held. Hes a low key kinda guy that just wants to follow you around and sit on your lap. He is fostered with other dogs and does fine. He doesnt really care about them and doesnt play with them but coexists. He has not yet met cats but would probably do fine with them. Hes not fostered with tiny kids but does well with a 9 year old. Any kids in the home would need to be respectful and not treat him like a toy. Axl is good in the car. He also does well with crate training. He is decent on the leash but prefers to be carried. Hes not perfect with potty training yet. He has accidents. His previous owner wasnt able to take him out properly so we are working on retraining him. He has a low energy level. Hes a lap dog that doesnt need much exercise to be happy. Short walks or some outside time keeps him happy. Axl so far has not shown any food, treat or toy aggression toward people or other dogs. He generally listens very well and is cooperative. He loves his toys and blankets. He plays fetch when he wants to. This sweet boy really is a wonderful little dog. He has a great personality and is almost done with learning his training. Vet and home checks required Located in Hampton VA.
