About Chili

URGENT: Meet Chili (A043795) Chili is one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet. He has a calm, gentle, loving personality and enjoys being around people despite everything he's been through. When Chili arrived at Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center, he was in heartbreaking condition. He had severely infected ears, inflamed and painful skin, swollen elbows, and sore, irritated eyes. It was obvious he had been suffering for quite some time before he finally made it to safety. Although the shelter staff is doing everything they can to keep Chili comfortable, the shelter is not equipped to provide the ongoing treatment and environment he needs to fully recover from his painful skin condition. A shelter kennel is simply not the ideal place for a dog trying to heal. Chili urgently needs a rescue to step in, but most rescues cannot take another dog unless they have a foster home available. A foster home would allow a rescue to provide the medical treatment Chili desperately needs while giving him a comfortable place to recover. Chili can also be adopted directly from the shelter. Anyone interested in adopting should understand that he will need continued veterinary care and treatment for his skin condition. With proper medical care, patience, and love, Chili has every opportunity to heal and enjoy the happy life he deserves. Through it all, Chili has never stopped being kind. He remains calm, affectionate, and trusting, and he continues to greet people with a gentle spirit. He deserves the chance to experience life outside the shelter where he can finally be comfortable, healthy, and loved.
