About Destiny

Meet Destiny (A043691) Destiny is an approximately 2-year-old sweetheart who has been waiting at Casa Grande Animal Care & Adoption Center since April 2, 2026. Like so many dogs who spend months living in a shelter, Destiny is struggling with kennel stress. The constant noise and confinement have become overwhelming, and she has started spinning in her kennel. It's heartbreaking to watch because this isn't who Destiny truly is-it's simply the result of spending far too long living behind kennel doors. She urgently needs a home where she can finally relax and just be a dog again. Once Destiny is outside of her kennel, she's a completely different dog. She's happy, affectionate, and loves spending time with people. She walks beautifully on leash and enjoys playing with her dog friends during shelter playgroups. Her playful personality and sweet nature shine the moment she's given the chance to get out and enjoy the world around her. Destiny has done well with other dogs at the shelter. If you already have a dog at home, please bring them along for a meet and greet to ensure they are a good match. Her compatibility with cats and small dogs is unknown. After months of waiting, Destiny deserves so much more than life in a kennel.
