Volunteers at Chicago Animal Care and Control have put out an online urgent SOS for Theodore. Theodore arrived at the shelter on June 18th, only about 1-2 years old, so a young boy. He was initially very afraid of the shelter environment, not surprising, since can be scary, especially for a younger doggie, but he had been gaining much confidence with the help and love of the volunteers. He ended up being a cuddle-bunny. Theodore now, though, has developed kennel stress and is harming himself by jumping against the kennel bars and walls. Once outside he regains composure, but now takes time to settle down. The shelter will not let this mental anguish he is having inside his kennel, which sadly, he spends most of his time, continue on for much longer, will euthanize for mental distress. He did well meeting another doggie on leash. PLEASE, he just needs a patient, loving home to decompress, to once again regain his confidence, his peace. He can also be fostered. HELP!!! He is a good boy, so young. Let's not have his story end with a tragic ending, be his hero, save his life!!! Email to find out more, arrange a meet and greet!!! Come. Please.
