About a year ago, we took in this beautiful 2-year-old Black Mouth Cur after she was found as a stray. We've worked incredibly hard to help her succeed, including working with a professional trainer, consulting with a behaviorist, doing slow, neutral introductions, and providing consistent structure and training. Unfortunately, despite all of those efforts, she has not been able to peacefully coexist with our resident female dog. We believe she would thrive as the only dog in the home or possibly with a confident, dominant male dog after a proper introduction. She is crate trained, potty trained, and loves her people. I don't know how she does with children. We love her very much. Our priority is finding her a home where she can be successful and where everyone can be safe. If you think you might be the right fit, or know someone who is, please send me a private message.
