About Tux

URGENT - PLEASE HELP SAVE TUX'S LIFE! I came across this post and had to share it in hopes of helping save this sweet boy's life. Tux (Tuxedo) is still searching for a loving home. According to his owner, if a suitable home cannot be found, he may be surrendered back to the shelter where he is at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. Tux is described as: Housebroken Great with adults, older children (8+) other animals Knows stay, leave it, come, wait, and eat Loves to play fetch but is not a high-energy dog No food or resource guarding Chicken and lamb allergy (does well on a turkey-based diet) Comes with veterinary records and vaccinations Tux MUST be placed in a home without small children. 8+ The owner has shared that Tux displayed concerning behavior around their toddler, (air snapping only with the 3 year old , so they are looking for a home with no children under 8 , where he can be successful. Despite that, they state he has done well with all the older children, adults, groomers, veterinarians, and other pets. Sadly, shelters are overwhelmed, and dogs surrendered by their owners often face the greatest risk. The owner went back to the shelter where he got Tux and the shelter said they will euthanized him due to space . Please don't let this be Tux's fate.
