https://www.instagram.com/reel/DawuewROkNx/ Can anyone help our friend, Thomas? This handsome boy was left tied up outside of the shelter last month with his best bud, sweet Daisy. Daisy was killed today ���� Now Thomas faces the same fate if no one comes for him. Thomas has been overwhelmed by shelter life and sadly, he's been on kennel confinement for most of his stay due to catching an upper respiratory infection. Due to that, he's only been out for playgroup and enrichment a handful of times. We were able to take Thomas out for yard time and he did not disappoint! Once he warmed up, he was a total lovebug, wanted to spend most of his time cuddled up in my lap! He also enjoyed showing his commands off for treats! He's quite the smarty pants. Thomas has been in playgroup three times and was described as tolerant his last two outings. They noted he was wary of handling and timid around the other dogs. Sadly, this lovely guy is now ��s�ALERTED & DEADLINED��s�because 'he is exhibiting behavior that is a safety concern.' He growled while being muzzled and unmuzzled in playgroup (they said he didn't like restraint) and staff have noted negative kennel behavior. Thomas dies on WEDNESDAY 7/15 anytime after 8AM. He is available for adoption or rescue. Please help us get Thomas to safety before it's too late. He's waiting at South LA Shelter.
