https://www.instagram.com/reel/Dav3RoVSRe8/ The alerts are not slowing down and Toby is another sweet pup on the dreaded euth list. He has LESS THAN 48 HRS to live now ���� He's a petite 2 yr old. Was surrendered to the shelter less than 3 weeks ago. His owner had him for 2 years and didn't say a single nice thing about him when leaving surrender notes. ���� At the shelter, Toby has been extremely overwhelmed, understandably. He often hides in his cubby, growling because he's scared. Take him out though, and he starts to soften. Still timid, but becomes open to interaction. With volunteers, he's accepted pets, showed off his sit and shake for treats, and had little bouts of playfulness! In playgroup, Toby has been described as tolerant. He used to sit in the corner but now is starting to mingle with the other dogs. Sadly, our friend is now ��s�ALERTED & DEADLINED��s�for negative kennel behavior noted by the supervisor (growling, barking, mouthing the kennel door). He now dies on WEDNESDAY 7/15 anytime after 8AM if no one comes for him. He is available for foster, adoption, or rescue. Hopeful that Toby can make a safe exit �٪%8F He's waiting at South LA Shelter.
