About Bonez-Dogo Argentino

Hi there! My name is Bonez. I was rescued from an overcrowded rural county shelter. I had a rough start - first, it was determined that I was deaf, but it doesn't stop me from enjoying life. Then, I tested positive for Heartworm - but that part is behind me now as I have been undergoing treatment and just tested negative! Now that I am healthy, I get to start looking for my furever family! As mentioned, I am deaf, but it honestly doesn't slow me down at all. I just need to be where I can see the humans so I know you are talking to me. I am estimated between 2 and 3 years of age and look like a Dogo Argentino (that breed is not listed on Rescue Me), possibly mixed with American Bulldog (best guess). I have a very sweet and easy going personality. I walk great on leash and am completely unreactive to other dogs. I am relaxed and low key- we could do a relaxing stroll after dinner then spend the evening watching a good movie! I am a big guy, weighing about 100 lbs, but my relaxed personality makes me a perfect companion for families as well as retired people. My $150 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, heartworm treatment, heartworm test (negative), deworming, microchip and neuter- everything already done.
