About Chowie

I have a very loved male Chow (possibly mix) that sadly needs to be rehomed asap. He does not get along with our bigger male dog anymore which poses a risk to us now having a newborn in the house. He has issues with dogs that are bigger than him. We have a chihuahua who he loves. We have only ever seen issues with dogs that are bigger than him. He really is one of the best dogs we've had. He is extremely sweet and protective of his humans. He loves to talk and play and has a very funny personality. He would be perfect for a single dog home or a home with small dogs and cats. He does get along with other cats (although he may chase them trying to play) and he loves his adults and kids. Owner must be okay with a very vocal dog. Has very typical chow breed behavior. He will take time to adjust to a new environment as he has only lived in our one home and been nowhere else.
