Hi, I am writing to see if you might be able to find room for a wonderful little stray dog that came to my porch last Thursday afternoon in Oklahoma City. She is absolutely sweet, loving, and will make an amazing pet for someone, but I cannot keep her. I have a large pit-husky mix that is being very territorial, and the two aren't safe together. It is extremely difficult for me to keep them separated, and I have been unsuccessful in finding her family. I posted her everywhere, including OKC Animal Welfare, on the day I found her, I have knocked on doors, and emailed dozens of no-kill shelters all over our state. No luck. Information about this wonderful dog: I took her to the vet, and she is 46 lb, approximately 9 months old. Seems to be in great health, not malnourished. Her fecal test was negative for parasites, and I got her the recommended vaccines and gave her a 30-day heartworm/flea/tick/worm prevention treatment. She is house trained, seems indifferent to cats, and loves people. I have only seen her with my dog and that isn't going well. She is good on a leash and rides nicely in a car. Not spayed, no microchip. I will drive her anywhere to a no-kill rescue or adopter that will agree to keep her safe. Please, please help!!! Thank you!!! Erin Jain (410)258-2732
