We are in urgent need of finding a good home or foster and rescue to save Toddy (or Todd for short) in time. This young boy came in weighing only 52 lbs, emaciated and has gained 20 lbs since. Fondly named Todd, he is estimated to be only 1.75 years old and appears to be a great combo of a chow and german shepherd mix. The Yolo shelter is overcrowded and reached out for help and told us, 'Todd has done well with other dogs when tested with a female and engaged in play through the fence with a male. Todd does not do well with cats, he has come across a few of outdoor cats here and appears to stalk them when he sees them. Todd is great with people.' His bio reads: 'Todd is a sweet chow mix who is in the shelter. The shelter is looking for placement soon for him. He needs a home since the shelter is overcrowded, Todd is 1 .5 years old. He is good with people and with other dogs. He loves to play and plays nicely, Todd takes corrections well and he will make some person or family a wonderful dog. He needs a home without cats or small animals. He is a very handsome young boy who would love a home of his own. He is a goofy fun boy who will make you smile.'
