About Benny

Benny is about 1-2 years old, 14 lbs and may be little, but he's one mighty dog with an adventurous spirit and a heart full of love. He can be a little skittish at first when meeting new people, but a few treats, some gentle pets, and a little patience are all it takes for him to become your loyal little sidekick. Once Benny feels comfortable, he loves being close to his people and is happiest right by your side. Whether you're relaxing at home or heading out for an adventure, he's always ready to join in. Benny rides well in the car and absolutely loves being outdoors. He would make an excellent hiking or camping companion for someone looking for a small dog with a big sense of adventure. At the end of the day, though, his favorite place is snuggled under the blankets with his favorite people. He gets along well with other dogs and children. He currently lives with cats and does well, but he may be tempted to play chase if they run or taunt him, so a confident, dog-savvy cat and proper introductions would be ideal. Benny is comfortable using a doggy door and enjoys the freedom of coming and going to the yard. He's looking for a family who will appreciate both his adventurous side and his love of cozy cuddles.
