About Peanut

Peanut is a very cute lovable dog. He enjoys cuddling and fetch and loves exploring new things. He doesn't like loud noises and will definitely let you know when someone is at the door. His favorite toys are benebones and balls that you can put treats in. Unfortunately though he has a bite history. We love him very much but we are now afraid of him. He has bitten two times. Once was unprovoked and the second time he was being tied up and didn't want to. Both broke skin. I had to get stitches. He needs someone that can train him better and or give him a better life. We live in an apartment and he is a working dog. His breed is 1/2 Australian shepherd and 1/2 karakachan. We don't want him to be put down and he can't come home because of fear, I have a adult autistic son who is around him the most and I can't take the chance of him getting bit but we are also aware due to his history that this is a long shot. He is currently being held by Norwich animal control in CT.
