About Panda

Panda is an approximately 2-3 year old, 55 lb Australian Shepherd mix (I think). He was a stray found on the south side around April 2025. The owner moved out-of-state in January 2026 and I agreed to pet sit, but the owner is now no longer able to take the dog. He has a current rabies vaccine, is on flea/tick medicine, and is neutered, but he needs his other vaccinations. During his stay, he has peacefully coexisted with another dog and a cat. He enjoys going on walks and meeting other dogs, and he wants to stop and smell everything. He loves ATTENTION - he will come and put his head on your lap or snuggle up to you if you let him on the furniture. He is potty trained and goes to the back door when he needs to go outside. He sleeps in his crate at night and is usually roaming free in the house during the day -- although he should have toys or chew bones available or he may start to chew on paper or sandals....
