About Gary

Gary was originally found emaciated on the side of the highway, covered in cuts, bruises, and fleas. A friend took him in and lovingly nursed him back to health, but when she had to leave town unexpectedly, Gary was left behind. I took him in to make sure he was safe and cared for, but unfortunately, I am unable to keep him because my landlord does not allow his breed, and I cannot give him the time, training, exercise, and attention he deserves. Gary is a very sweet, gentle, and affectionate dog with lots of energy and love to give. He does well with other dogs, cats, and children, and he loves cuddling with everyone he meets. He does not jump on people, is properly crate trained, and has never chewed on anything other than his toys. He is partially potty-trained but may still have an occasional accident. Gary would thrive in a patient, loving home with someone who has the time to play with him, continue his training, and give him plenty of exercise and companionship. He has been through a lot and deserves a stable, caring forever home where he can feel safe and loved.
