About Abby

This is Abby, and she is a miniature long haired dachshund. Abby was a retired breeder, and she needs a special home. Due to a lack of socialization, she doesn't know how to deal with the excitement and anxiety of new people coming in the home so she ends up biting. It is trainable trait, and we are working with a trainer. She needs someone who has a quiet home and is willing to work with her or crate her when guests arrive. Other than that, her tail wags all the time and she is incredibly sweet. She is a quiet and sweet girl that gets along with other dogs and cats. She has gotten along with respectful children and grew up with children. Abby is 5 years old and weighs 14 pounds, although she could lose a couple of pounds. Abby walks well on a leash and is housebroken. She is spayed, updated on vaccines, on heartworm preventative, and microchipped.
