About Max

Max is a very loving Russian Blue cat that is calm, gentle and adores people. He enjoys snuggling and feeling a part of your life. He is curious and loves to follow me around the house to see what I am doing. He understands boundaries and does not scratch or ruin furniture. Max is very calm but talkative (meowing quietly when he wants attention) in response my conversation with him. He understands to 'sit' while I pour his kibble. He loves when I take time to play with him. Max's day starts with waiting for the shades to open so he can see what's going on outside. Then he eats (he likes to nibble throughout the day) and looks for a cozy spot to lay in the morning sunshine. He spends his day sleeping or watching the activities outside. He loves to hide all toys. The ideal home for Max is one where he will have lots of attention. He loves to feel a part of the family and what is going on in the home. He is an intelligent cat and tries to communicate his needs (eg. trying to lead you to his water bowl when out of water).He watches facial expressions, as if able to read them. He will follow you into the bathroom and wait for you as if standing watch. He's not an outdoor cat and will not be safe on his own outside. He is calm and gentle, and enjoys being treated with warmth and respect. Max is completely housebroken. He has never scratched or destroyed furniture. He rather his own scratch post and sleeping areas. However, he would not mind sleeping close to you. Max has been neutered and is up to date on required shots.
