About Petey

Meet Petey! *Courtesy listing* Petey is a spunky, 3-year-old terrier/staffy mix weighing 50 pounds. He's very smart, playful, affectionate, athletic, and loves bonding with his people! While Petey didn't have the best start in life, we're making sure he's getting the guidance and structure he's always deserved. He's spent the past several months working with a professional trainer-he's crate trained, house trained, and walks nicely on leash. He loves fetch, jogging alongside a bike, cuddling on the couch, and handing out the sweetest kisses. We've made sure Petey understands rules and routine and he deserves an experienced adopter who will continue working with him to become his best self. To help ensure a successful transition, Petey's trainer can provide support to his adopter before and after placement. His ideal home is with an adult adopter or couple, preferably with bully breed experience. A calm home without children, small animals or dominant male dogs. He may do well with the right female dog but would also be happy as an only dog. Petey has worked hard for his second chance. Now he's looking for someone willing to continue the journey with him.
