ATHENA, A2129992, Medical Alerted!!! She dies on 7/23 at 4pm!!! SPAYED FEMALE , BLACK ROTTWEILER. Shelter: WEST VALLEY Age: 4 YRS. I weigh approximately 80.00 lbs. This animal has been at the shelter since 5/26/2026 and on this list since 7/11/2026 Medical Condition: History: Athena had left pelvic limb intermittent lameness prior to impound. Radiograph interpretation x-rays taken on 6/15/2026: Flattened head of both left and right Femur bones, DJD Arthritis stifle joints left stifle joint has more severe arthritis than the right stifle joint. Athena continues to have intermittent non-weight bearing lameness Athena is not responding to treatments for her left pelvic limb lameness. Athena must be rescued by 7/23/2026 before 4:00pm or sooner!! Athena may be euthanized at any time if her medical condition declines.
