About Pollux

Pollux was rescued from Miami, FL. He is 5 years old and 70 lbs of muscle. He has worked with a trainer and is capable of learning, but would benefit from more training. He has basic commands down, but does what he wants when excited. He has never had accidents in house, Is in excellent health, loves people, front seat car rides, is highly food motivated, and protective of the yard. He has lived with other dogs after, slow, introductions with an experienced handler. He is very athletic and has two speeds: on and off. He cuddles, likes kids but can be a brute, though he doesn't mean it. Pollux has the instinct to keep your yard free of critters. He needs a high-fenced in area to exercise and can jump about 5' in the air. Dislikes: fireworks, having to pee in the rain/storms, lawnmowers, gunshots (shooting ranges, even in the distance unnerve him), and the hose. Pollux needs exercise and understanding. It would be best to keep him in 6' fence, off from the road due to his tendency to bark, jump and run along the fence. Breed-familiar, compassionate family or individual is a must. Seems intimidating if you are on the wrong side of the fence.
