About BEAR

Bear is a Labrador with two very special talents: making friends with absolutely everyone and convincing people that 76 pounds is the perfect lap-dog size! This handsome boy has become everyone's favorite. During an AAR event, he spent the night with volunteers, made himself right at home, and happily snuggled beside them like he'd lived there forever. Not bad for a dog who had previously been an outside dog! Bear has done well with children, other dogs, and even politely ignored the outdoor cats. He also loves splashing around in the family creek-because every Lab knows life is better with water. Sweet, easygoing, and full of love, Bear is ready to trade his shelter kennel for a comfy couch and a family to call his own.
