I adopted Cocoa from a shelter! She had been abused by her owners ex husband! She was shy at first but has come a long way! Her issue is that she has become aggressive with my other dog! The vet gave me pills to calm her down around The other dog! The pills work but when it wears off it starts again! The vet and I agree it is a possession problem! She wants to be the center of attention and not share owners attention! She's sweet and cuddly most of the time! She does like to bark!
