This is Louie. Louie is a Turkish angora (likely a mix) who I adopted while working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is 7 years old. He is playful, energetic, and extremely affectionate. I brought him back to the US with me in 2023. I have recently relocated to the UAE (Abu Dhabi - I am already here). Louie was supposed to be on my flight with me. He had an entry permit, I paid 1,500 in fees for paperwork and the airline. But my poor baby developed a urinary blockage the day before we were supposed to fly and he was no longer fit for travel. I had to leave him at an emergency vet and now I have no choice but to find him a new home. The act of travel is too stressful for him and, with recent vet bills, too expensive for me. Louie has a companion named Fera, who is a 5 year-old British shorthair/Himalayan mix. She is supposed to be transported to me when the weather is cooler (she is a flatter faced girl and could not safely travel in the current heat). I am willing to rehome them together or separately if need be. If they were to go together, they would come with an automatic litter box, food, food dispenser. etc. However, it is important to note that Louie will need to be on medications for anxiety and could suffer a relapse at some point. He needs a stable, consistent environment and a family that can love him and provide the care that he needs. Please reach out if you or anyone you know might be a good home for this sweet, playful, affectionate boy, or him and chonky, sweet Fera. Please contact via the email form or use Whatsapp to connect, since my phone number is now in the UAE. I am not sure why it says no photo available, but I am happy to share photos via email or Whatsapp.
