About Chavela-URGENT!!!

URGENT need for a foster parent for sweet Chavela through a rescue org.!!! Can also foster to adopt through it. Shepherds are at an increased risk of being euthanized when the shelter, Chicago Animal Care and Control, gets over-capacity. Tragically it is currently full, which is often the case!!! The shelter has a policy of mostly not offering purebred Shepherds up for adoption. Chavela is only rescue due to this policy, therefore chance of making it out of there is even more decreased! The rescue org. that is taking foster/foster to adopt applications for beautiful Chavela is: German Shepherd Rescue, Inc., if live in Chicagoland area/parts of Indiana (gsrescue1.org). Sharing following from rescue org. taking applications: Chavela came to Chicago Animal Care and Control as a chipped stray on July 3rd, but sadly no one has come for her. She is only 2 years old, no issues with handling, walks pretty well on leash, not really interested in playing, just wanted to hang out and get pets, very nice doggie. Did well meeting another dog.
