It breaks our hearts, but we are looking for the right retirement home for our beautiful Anatolian Shepherd. * 13-year-old spayed female * Current on vaccinations and healthy * Located near Houston, Texas She was born and raised with livestock and worked as a livestock guardian until she was about 9 years old. After we sold our farm, she transitioned into being a house dog and has thoroughly enjoyed retirement, spending her days protecting her home and family, lounging inside, and keeping watch over her yard. She is loving, loyal, and naturally protective of her people and home, just as an Anatolian should be. She has a doggie door and is accustomed to going in and out. As she has gotten older, she has developed anxiety during thunderstorms so she would do best with someone who understands she needs extra reassurance during storms. She is a great companion. We are moving again and travel frequently, she deserves a home where her people can give her the companionship she enjoys. We are looking for a loving home with a secure yard where she can spend her retirement years being loved and appreciated.
