About Lexi

Lexi is an approximately 2 year-old Australian Kelpie/Labrador Retriever mix with a beautiful chocolate-brown coat, a white patch on her chest, and the sweetest personality. She weighs about 54 pounds, is spayed, house-trained, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and knows common commands. She is great with children and other dogs and has an affectionate nature that makes her a wonderful family companion. She has a fun, playful personality and enjoys being active, but she also settles down well inside the home. She thrives as an indoor dog and loves daily walks, outdoor play, and spending time with her people. We are seeking a new home for her because she has become increasingly anxious around frequent gunfire where our family lives in the country. The loud noises cause her significant stress, and unfortunately, our family's living situation does not allow us to keep her indoors full-time, where she feels safest. We want to do what is best for her by finding a home where she can live primarily indoors in a quieter environment and receive the comfort and security she deserves. Most of all, Lexi is looking for a family who will give her the love, attention, and stability she deserves. She has so much love left to give and is ready to become someone's loyal companion!
