Jojo is a rescued American Foxhound (or possibly walker coonhound). I found her roaming, skinny, and covered in ticks and fleas. My best guess is that she was a hunting dog previously in some capacity. I have had her for 2 years and in that time she has become significantly less anxious towards new people and new things. I would love to rehome her to someone who can spend more time training her and can allow her more room to truly run. Jojo loves to cuddle but she can be very timid sometimes. She does not like loud noises like motorcycles or loud vehicles and does not like car rides but she enjoys the destination. She also LOVES to run. Unfortunately, I have not had the time or money to train her on recall so roaming freely is not an option for her where I live. She does still struggle with anxiety. She will need a patient, loving, individual or family that has time to spend with her. She is an inside dog that enjoys to snuggle but she does need a substantial amount of exercise or she will act out (i.e. chewing or digging). She is not currently crated but I do have a heavy duty crate that will come with her, as it is the only crate she has yet to break out of.
