Lola - Adult only home recommended, if there are children they need to be older, 15 plus, no children that are timid or have a small stature. About Lola: 3.5 yr old spayed female, Lola is most likely a mix of hound/jack russell/ some type of terrier, around 35 lbs. Adopted from humane society at 6 months. Good traits: Active, loves hiking/walks, playful, loves fetch, affectionate with trusted adults and older children, house-trained, knows basic commands. Calm with trusted adults near her food.Critical issue - Bite history with child:1. Bit youngest daughter in face when child was between Lola and food. 2. Attacked same child during training session with treats involved. Required ER visit + stitches to facial lacerations. Attacks were unprovoked/ unpredictable. Lola views youngest daughter as a threat around food. Also shows aggression towards visitors, dogs on walks, and lunges at cars.Placement requirements -Adults only recommended, if there are children they need to be older, at least 15 plus, no children that are timid or have a small stature.Experienced handler, must have history with aggression/resource guarding cases. We are heartbroken but prioritizing human safety. This is devastating, but some dogs are wired in ways training can help manage but not completely fix. Choosing safety is love.
