About CAG

Rose is about 25 years old Excellent health. Friendly. Shy. Has lived in same home 20 years uncaged; diet of commercial pellets, nuts, homemade parrot mash of cooked mixed frozen vegetables, cornmeal, eggs, various fruits. Loves peanuts. Talks when she feels like it, but not on command. Chatters, whistles, sometimes will sing her strange jazzy scat songs. Mostly quiet and composed. She has never lived in a cage. Has her own 10x10x20 indoor aviary. Lives with a female TAG (Stella) more or less in harmony. I hope that Rose and Stella can stay together. I will consider only persons within 60 miles of Austin, unless adoption is through an approved adoption agency. Preference will be given to those who adopt both birds.
