At 41 pounds, he's the perfect medium-sized dog, big enough to join you on every adventure, yet compact enough to fit comfortably into everyday life. While Wrigley may be full-grown, he's still very much a puppy at heart! He graduated from puppy school in May 2026 and proudly earned his AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Certification, giving him an excellent foundation of good manners and basic training. Now he's looking for a forever family that will continue building on everything he's learned. He will flourish with an active family committed to continuing his training, providing daily exercise, fun adventures, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to play. Wrigley is playful, curious, and affectionate. Because social interaction with other dogs is such an important part of a young dog's development, Wrigley requires a home with at least one other friendly, playful dog. A canine companion isn't just a bonus, it's essential for helping him meet his play, exercise, and socialization needs. Wrigley is happiest when he's included in his family's daily life. He needs a home where one or more family members are home more often than not, as spending long hours alone simply isn't his style. While he's happily crate trained, he'd much rather be hanging out beside you than watching life from behind a crate door. Wrigley can be quite talkative if he feels he is being left out of the fun, so he'd be happiest in a single-family home rather than an apartment, condo, or townhome where nearby neighbors might not appreciate his commentary. Wrigley experienced a few seizures in his short life so far, but after working closely with his veterinarian, he was started on anti-seizure medication. The great news is that he has not had a single seizure since beginning his medication and is doing wonderfully. His forever family will simply need to continue his medication and routine veterinary care so he can keep living his happy, active life. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with a playful spirit, a heart full of love, and just the right amount of puppy mischief, Wrigley is ready to fill your home with laughter, adventures, and endless tail wags. All he asks is a playful canine sibling, people who are around to share life with him, and a family ready to love him as much as he'll love them. As part of Wrigley's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
