Strawberry is around 3-4 years old now. She was the sweetest little cat unspayed for the first 3 years. She is spayed now thinking it would help change some of her behavior a bit. Until this past march shes had her anxiety or sudden fears, possibly even a territorial type feeling, lead to attacks on my wife and even child where they were pretty bad. With around 4-6 attacks on us overall. Some leaving scarring. We've tried changing our own behaviors and feeding placements, stimulations to help. Along with a short term fix of Gabapentin to relax her until we find a proper no kill rehoming. She can be the sweetest thing and sleep with you one moment for a couple days or cuddle with you. Then her fearful/aggressive behavior can be triggered by random thing. Opening the freezer in our Apartment kitchen, too many people in a small place. We're looking to rehome to someone with more experience in helping troubled cats. Maybe even an outdoor type rehoming, even though shes only ever been inside. She does mean the world to us but have to get rid of her sadly due to the attacks not getting much better, even though it would go 5-6 days without any aggression. Shes well spoiled though and has had a mostly wet food diet, and recently had her tick/lice medicine this past week. With 2 weeks on Gabapentin as the date of this post. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
