Can you say perfect little rough coat? She is so adorable with that heavy rough coat, but she did have a groomer smooth her up a little recently. And, as you know JRTs' coats don't need much, just a good brushing every few days! Greta is 6 years old and about as wonderful as a JRT can come. Happy, friendly, healthy, frisky, playful, loving,and very smart. Greta needs an energetic owner. She loves to play in the yard and take walks. She will also get rid of any varmints in the yard that are troubling you. She has wonderful manners and can be left alone in the house for numerous hours, but she would love more interaction than that. She wants attention, stimulation, and playtime. Greta has to have a securely fenced yard. No electronic fencing, no wrought iron unless it is screened, and no short chain-link because she may be able to jump over it. Greta will probably be ok with a male dog, but absolutely no females. Greta requires a home with no young children and no little critters such as hamsters or parakeets because she is, after all, a Jack Russell. In order to adopt her, you must fill out the online adoption application at www.RussellRescue.com and have a good vet reference. Greta is not a Russell Rescue dog. Whoever adopts her will need to be able to drive to the Lafayette, Louisiana area to get her.
