Emmett is a 1 year old, 65 lb sweetheart with a gentle soul, a playful spirit, and the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. While he can be a little reserved when meeting new people, it doesn't take long for his loving personality to shine through. When it's time to play, Emmett is all in! He loves chasing tennis balls, running through sprinklers, and enjoying every bit of fun life has to offer. After playtime, he settles into his calm, easygoing nature and is happy to simply be by your side. Emmett has been well socialized with big dogs, young children, and even cats, making him a wonderful companion for many different types of homes. He is crate trained and enjoys being part of the family. Loud or unexpected noises can sometimes startle him, so he appreciates patient reassurance while he continues building confidence. On walks, Emmett prefers to stay close to his person and often looks to them for encouragement when exploring new places. His trusting nature and desire to stay connected make him a wonderful walking companion. One of Emmett's most charming qualities is his goofy personality. When he's happy, he's quite the chatterbox and loves to 'talk' to his people. And if you happen to put on a new hat, don't be surprised if he gives it a few curious barks until he's convinced you're still you! Emmett is a sweet, sensitive, and incredibly lovable young dog who is ready to find a forever family that will continue building his confidence while embracing his playful spirit and adorable quirks.
